Always the busy bee, she found herself always searching for the next best thing. She was never fulfilled.
She could solve everyone’s problems but her own. When the world started crashing down on her, she did what most would do who are strong in nature. She kept going. She kept pushing. She kept hoping. When that didn’t work, she began to lose her way and depression set in. She speaks from the heart when she writes this book. Her desire is to help the individual that everyone thinks is strong and always on top. The one that is always helping others, but never asks or expects help in return. The one that is so busy caring for others, when it is time for self-care the well is dry. If this is you, the read will be beneficial and therapeutic. Enjoy!
We all have plans and goals we want to achieve. Mine had nothing to do with my purpose in life. Once I discovered my purpose, which was writing, I didn't think it was to help and heal others. I also never invasion it would be through writing books. This is indeed a new journey, nevertheless, I am committed to sharing my story if it will help heal the land.
Each workshop is designed to go in-depth with the steps provided in the book. During each workshop, we will read the book together, go through each step, and develop take-home exercises.
During the Learning Lounge, the author will take a few weeks to read through her book entitled “Drowning—You Can’t Breathe Water! How I Survived”. Each one-hour weekly meetup will conclude with a Q&A session. Join her as she speaks about her journey with depression and the steps she used to overcome it.
